This editions of the Brazillian National Meeting of Astronomy took place in Maceio, a beautiful city in the northeast of Brazil. The event went on 15 and 16 of November 2008. The Planetary Society help to support it by distributing folders, bookmarks and the society's publication The Planetary Report among several participants.
